This component will allow you to add a variety of spinners to your Power Apps applications.

The component is very easy to use as you just need to place it on your screen and setup two properties :

  • Spinner = the type of spinner you want to display (use the output property SpinnerType to set this property value)
  • SpinnerSettings = options for all spinners -> just set the options for the spinner you selected in the previous property and voilàaaa...

In addition, you can download a small application that allows you to test and preview each spinner provided by the component, plus you will be able to play around with their various options until it suits your needs :

The app will also allow you to get the code of a spinner to place it directly on the Image property of an Image control, thus avoiding the use of the component.

🔗 Everything can be found here on my Github space: https://github.com/e-gallis/PowerApps/blob/master/Components/PowerSpinner/readme.md

And it's all free... 😀

Note: all actual spinners within the component were found on https://loading.io. If you wish to see another spinner added to the component, just send me the link through my LinkedIn account and I shall do it right away... 😉

    Hey @schuess3,

    Thanks... 😊

About the material design progress indicator, Robin Rosengrün and Luise Freese will present tomorrow a full component library with all material design components as canvas components. I'm definitely going to watch it.

Here is the tweet from Robin: https://twitter.com/power_r2/status/1604966084179906588

    Hey

I love what you have done here, and thanks for the contribution to the community. If you ever put out a new version, would you think about including a linear progress indicator, like this example from google material design?

    Thanks again
