In this video we are going to round off our working with dates and events in SharePoint. In previous videos we have looked at how to get the recurrence information, and also how to use XPath. We are now going to take these skills and employ it with our SharePoint event, breaking apart the XML to identify the key information, to look at how we can handle a recurrent event.
The specific scenario we will look at here is notifying someone for a monthly event, but you could extend this logic to take into account weekly and yearly recurrence.
