Button's OnSelect property missing automatically

Posted on 28 Nov 2024 22:30:11 by 2
One of my Power Apps button stopped working suddenly. And when I checked it later, I found that the OnSelect property was blank.

Now the button was functioning properly yesterday and before. So, the code was intact till yesterday. I'm only the user using this environment with admin rights and I have not done any updates or modifications on it. Fortunately, the code was simple, I write it again and now it is working properly as expected.

Now my query is - Is it possible to disappearing of the code without doing anything from my end? If so - what could be the reason behind this? Do we have any place where we can check the logs or activities to identify the root cause?

Note: I have checked Power platform known issue but couldn't find any: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support/knownIssues

Need help to find the root cause of this issue. Your help will be appreciated!!

Did you confirm that a new version of the app wasn't created on the day or day before you found the issue?

Is this a Modern or Classic Button ? As you can appreciate, the answer is probably that there logically is none other than the possible "buggy" nature presently of Modern controls.
