Hi,
i have just created 2 apps in two different tenants. After the creating on both tenants i see that the Apps-Onstart is missing, so it is not possible to set initial values in OnStart.
Any idea what is happening, and how to get access to the OnStart ?
I had this issue today with a PowerApps custom form for a SharePoint list. Here's how to fix it.
You can also go to Upcoming Features in Settings and turn on the "Use non-blocking OnStart rule". It will allow the OnStart rule to run in parallel to other app rules.
Hello,
I know there is a lot of time this issue was asked, but still in 2022 is difficult to find out a answer for this situation.
You can solve this problem by going to "settings" and enable the "App.OnStart" in the end of the ribble "General".
It can be turned off in the app settings...
Thanks for the update @WarrenBelz. I reported this problem yesterday and I spoke to a support engineer (which I thought was impressive, given it was a Saturday). Hopefully, they'll fix this problem properly soon now that they're aware of it.
@timl , @DaveConnors , @TrulsB ,
Hmmmm - even more interesting - not present when app is first made. Save and come back in and it appears . . .
I am getting it now doing a new SharePoint Integrated app - still shows OK on existing apps. Shifted code to Screen OnVisible for now
Thanks @timl ,
I am in Australia, so it must be regionally based.
Thanks @DaveConnors
@TrulsB - Just like @DaveConnors , I also saw the same problem in Chrome.
@WarrenBelz doesn't see this issue, so I guess this could be region specific (I'm based in the UK)
Just as a reference for anyone else reading this, here's a link to the other post.

@TrulsB I was having the same issue, in Chrome - @timl solved it by providing me this link to an older version of the designer: https://create.powerapps.com/v3.20114.22.171220965/studio/#
