- Started new portal page ( enhanced dat model enabled / bootstrap 5 enabled)

- User Starter template 1

- Added page with contact list

- Added page with contact detail form

- Trying to get Timeline displayed

- Following the guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/view-all-activities-in-portal-timeline

Got stuck at his step:

- Port Timeline view seems to be missing. Also looked in the default solution. The view is nowhere to be found?

- In previous deployments in toher environments I have seen this view and used it to filter specific activities.

- Now it seems the Timeline component is not able to load on the Power Pages form. Keeps LOADING

Hi community, I'm also facing this behaviour: Loading screen. Portal Timeline View not available.

Did somebody figured out how to resolve this issue?

You could add a second site that uses the standard datamodel - that should add the missing Portal Timeline View.
Or import the view from a different environment that uses the standard datamodel.

And report this to MS - as this seems to be a problem when provisioning Power Pages in an enviroment that only uses the enhanced datamodel?

@fm_skeller : Thanks a lot! That worked for me. I've added another site using the customer service template. With this, the missing view has been created and now the timeline also works in my main site which is custom and not relying on a template! I will also report to MS
