Flow Trigger-When an Item is created or modified

I have created item in SharePoint List and immediately modified the same item ,flow triggered only for version 2 (modified item) but not for Version 1(created item), In Flow history there is no trace for this.

    Hi
You mean you created the item before setting up the flow, right?
Now you already have set up your flow, try to create an item now, wait for some seconds and then modify it. Your flow should be executed twice
    Hope this helps

I  have firstly setup the flow then created the item and after 1 minute modified the item but only version 2 flow instance ran.

    Hi @vishalgoyal2472 ,

Please take a try with @efialttes 's suggestion.

The flow would be triggered when an item is created and when the item is modified.

    Best regards,

    Alice

    @v-alzhan-msft

I have wait for 1-2 minutes, do we have to wait for more time after we create the item, Is there any specific time we have to wait?

    Hi @vishalgoyal2472 ,

There is no any special time need to wait before you want update the item.

And I think the flow would work event though you don't wait, maybe just 1 second.

    Best regards,

    Alice

    Hi @vishalgoyal2472 ,
Did you reproduce the issue again? Or is it everything up and running as expected?
    Thanx!

    Hi

Are you using a conditional trigger?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFlow/comments/df0v31/conditional_trigger_tutorial_for_microsoft_flow/

If not, my only suggestion is to recreate the flow from scratch. IN the old days it used to be a pain in the ass, now we can group our actions in scope and copy them to coplipboard, it is less painful

    Hope this helps

    Hi @vishalgoyal2472 ,

Could you please make a test again and check if your issue still exists.

It is very strange since we haven't encountered the problem.

    Best Regards,

    Alice
