I have a manual flow that I would like to read two columns on a spreadsheet and matching the first column to the Sharepoint Column add a numeric value to another column but I cannot get the update item to show the Excel Value as a selection.
My Flow is as follows:

I've noticed the same issue today. Maybe it's another bug from the New Designer...
An alternative for that is to click in the expression button (Fx):
And then select the "Dynamic content" tab:
There you will find all Excel column references. After select the desired one, click "Add", and the problem is solved 🙂
If you still cannot find the column in the dynamic content list, use the following expression: item()['your_column_name'], just replacing the text in red for your actual Excel table column name:
