Disable Web Form AI Form-Fill Assistance Permanently

I am not sure how this is even possible.

A developer of mine "switched on" the AI form fill PDF assistant on a PowerPages web form and it is impossible to remove.

1. Every single co-pilot and AI setting at the environment level has been unchecked.

2. Our global admin disabled co-pilot and AI elements tenant wide via PowerPlatform governance controls.

3. Unticking the setting in PowerPages builder does nothing, after save + sync the setting returns to checked, as if changes made through that interface are simply not honored. This happens across all browsers, with tenant admin level permissions.

4. Even CSS is not a viable solution- the display:none; attribute at render time is not honored when added as custom css.

At this point, I am considering completely blowing the form away and starting from scratch. It is shocking what Power Pages product managers get away with shipping nowadays.

The entire product was more stable and feature rich under the stewardship of Adoxio.

The same problem here. Customer wants the big fat ✨ FORM FILL ASSISTANCE gone, but now I have to tell them that the button is there, but it does not work... Talk about amateurism

We apologize for the issues you faced, and the inconvenience caused. To help us understand and repro the issue, can you please confirm if you have tried the governance setting (Power Platform Admin Center -> Resources -> Power Pages Sites -> Governance Controls) to turn this feature off.

Additionally, if you could share your site details with us, it will help us investigate why the steps would not work in your case.

Hi,

I will try this way, it worked for me

In PowerPortal Managment -> site settings, it automatically added a new setting, named Forms/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/EnableGenAIFormsAssistant. Change the value to false, so that the AI assistant is disabled on the form
