I need to sends an email notification when the user clicks the submit button on the power page form, so that when the user submits the form, my team or I will receive an email notification that the form has been finalized / submitted.

    Hi @mosimkhapathan ,

What I suggest is to set a field value on submit of the form, then use that field as the trigger to fire a Power Automate Flow to send the email.

    Steps:

    Create a new Yes/No field

Open your Form in Portal Management App, on your Form Metadata, select your field and choose set value on save, set the value to true.

Then create a new Power Automate Flow to use that Yes/No field as the trigger to send the email.

    Hi @mosimkhapathan,

what do you want to achieve? The form submission usually displays a success message depending on what you do.

If you want to redirect add an event listener on a display property. If for example the display property of the form changes, as it usually does, fire an event and redirect, show a message or anything else.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi @domliu

Quick question if you don't mind; where are you creating the Yes/No field please? Directly in the form or in Portal Management?

    cheers!

    Hi @londnr

I usually create fields from the make.powerapps portal in my solution.

    Cheers,

    Dom
