Flow to convert a PDF to Excel

I'm trying to create a flow where I can convert certain key terms in a PDF file into a excel file. I have found some examples using Power Automate Cloud, but I was wondering if it would be possible to also do on desktop because most of the files are saved locally.

    Dear C,

Your easiest 2 options would be to either use:

    • AI builder action in which you train an AI model to extract some details from PDF. Very easy, very useful, but it will lead to licensing costs later on when you use up too many AI credits (which are free for now it seems).
    • Encodian (or other) custom action, which is a paid custom action.

You can also do this via PAD at which you would use something like the action below:

There may be other options out there, but these I know of.

    Happy flowing,

    Koen
