Conditional custom column

Posted on by
I am trying to get the number of years and months an employee has been with our district.  I have this code working if the employee is still active.   The issue I am having is when an employee is terminated I need to subtract the term date from the current date but if they are still active I have to subtract the hire date from the term date and place the results in the same column.

Does anyone out there know how to accomplish this using Power Query? I have attempted an If statement but it will not work. Any assistance is greatly appreciated
