Hi there,

I was using a flow template that is supposed to save attachments in an email to one drive. This flow seemed to work but it saved the file type as "file". The original file in the attachment was a word document so I thought the file would save as a Word doc. Am I missing something? is this normal? any suggestions would be great!

hi there, yes i realized that the attachment name would have the extension in it and it opens now.

Could you please share the detailed flow steps?

In general, the issue you described could be due to the lack of extension for file name. I made a test on my side, but can't reproduce your issue, the flow shown as below works properly..

Please refer to the following steps and try to see if your problem can be fixed. If you still have problems, try adding the extension '.docx' after the name.
