I have a Power App that manages my client database and their orders.
It's in the Default Environment unfortunately because power pages doesn't allow me to use a dataverse in the default environment.
What I want to do is to use Power Pages to build a client portal so client's can access their prior and current orders and order more products from me and use power pages and the dataverse table to manage their account as well.
How can I do this? I need some detailed steps as my main db is already built in the default environment. Am I missing something here? It seems everyone would want this for their own clients but Microsoft isn't "architected" for this or am I missing it.
Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately for you, you can't use the Default environment (also generally speaking personally I wouldn't use the Default for anything at all - it also has other technical limitations). Basically, would need to setup another environment, and then move what you have already setup via Solution Files and data migration to the new environment - or possibly (not sure if this would work) depending on your data setup another environment and then create virtual tables that use those in the Default.
