Update Search Facet Result Template with Custom Field

Hi everyone!

I've been trying to modify the OOB Search Web Template (Faceted Search - Results Template) to always bring back a custom field (First Sentence) for Knowledge Articles instead of the fragment, I've had success in modifying the template, faceted search is enabled etc. however I cannot seem to access the custom field.

I've noticed the template is using "handlebarsjs" which I'm not familiar with, and I've had a look at the community edition code which is roughly what Power Pages is in the back end and I can see an extendedAttributes argument, however I'm unsure if it's accessible from here.
