Virtual table relationship with dataverse table using Non GUID column

Hi,

I am trying to find the way how to create Virtual Table relationship to native Dataverse table. The scenario is to connect external assets to Account table.

In external source I do not have GUID for Account. I have Account Number that represents unique value in external Assets table to the Accounts. In Dataverse I have also Account Number column in Account table. I created Alternate Key for this scenario in Account table (as this is pretty much effective in Data Flow mappings), but I am not able to establish the relationship between virtual table and Account (basically to create lookup to Account table).

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Can you please share pictures so we can see what you are trying to do also.

1. You must have a matching "column" in each. What is the type of column that is identify (int / int) etc that is being used between the two tables?

But you should not have an issue, so if you can please share a walkthrough of the steps you are taking please. Make sure its a 1:N
