Replicate Form based on dropdown selection

Hi All, 

 

I am trying to create a form, in which I have a dropdown, now if I select number 1 from the dropdown, then the forms should show up 1 time, if I select 2 then the form should appear twice and so on.

Any idea how can I accomplish this?

    We can display multiple forms on the page using Liquid Template Code, However in your scenario you want to display the same form multiple times. That i don't think is supported using default Basic Form component. Because same form/html control can't be repeated on the same page. You will get error "field is present multiple times on the form...".

     

    Therefore, only solution is to design the form using HTML, each time when user choose the value form the drop-down and insert the data to Dataverse using Portal WEB API. Make sure, you are using same CSS that applies on Basic Form to get the UI experience similar like default Basic Form.
