Dear fellow developers,

we are trying to set up portal-contacts for users, before they log into the portal for the first time.

as login, these users are enabled with accounts from the azure AD.

Therefor we create a contact with:

adx_identity_username: guid
adx_identity_securitystamp: guid
adx_identity_logonenabled: true

and a linked record "adx_externalidentity" with:

adx_username: adx_identity_username
adx_identityprovidername: https://sts.windows.net/guid: (The GUID is the Directory ID which is found on the Properties settings for Azure Active Directory.)

after logging in this message apears (german):

after navigating away (home page e.g.) the user is logged in successfully!

any idea, why the error message shows?

Do you assign a web role to the contact upon creation ?

Yes we do.
i just discovered, that navigating to the profile page shows the error-page (/de-DE/profile/).
this is probably the destination after a successful login.
table-permissions for contact are set to the default values.
any ideas why the profile-page is not accessable?

You need to narrow it down but asking below questions:
Does this issue happen to all logins regardless if its pre setup login or new register ?
What started this issue? did you for example moved the portal to new environment ?
Use XrmToolbox "Portal Configuration Compare" to find whats missing using a working environment as base
