Hello Everyone,
We have got an requirement where the metadata filter on a list has to be saved for a user. When a user filter the OOTB list based on different available filters and then navigates to another webpage and when comes back to the list the filter criteria which the user had selected previously should persist.
Suggestion/idea from the experts here required.

the only way I can think of that is to use javascript.
Add an eventlistener to your filter fields: text, dropdown choice etc. and save those into your localStorage.
When entering the page check if your localStorage object (probably a JSON) is not empty, apply the filters.
