We are BRAND NEW to flow and have a need to connect to a SFTP server, copy the files from that server to a local on premise server.  That folder is then scanned by our ERP software to import.  We set up a On Prem gateway, but can't figure out how to write the flow.

I was able to start from scratch and connected to the SFTP server.  Now lost.  We have a hot project and I can't figure this out. Can anyone please help us get started?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @rsavage16,

The flow is triggered by when a file is created or modified. Following by the action Get file content.

Then in the file system action create file, use the dynamic content File name from the trigger, file content from the action Get file content.

    Best regards,

    Mabel

I'm really new, so forgive my ignorance.  Why would you have 2 steps fro SFTP?  The first one would connect to the server.  What is the second doing?

    Hi @rsavage16,

Do you want to copy file from SFTP server to a local folder?

It seems that you have created a connection to SFTP Server. To copy the file to a local folder, please consider using connector File System.

The flow could be configured likes below:

Before using File System connector, please create the connection properly. More details in the following doc:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/filesystem/

    Best regards,

    Mabel
