Trigger Power Apps activity from Power Portal

Hi All-

This is a bit of a vague question, and I think the answer is likely "NO".

Is there any way, outside of WebForms/EntityForms, to send data/request to Power Apps/CDS? I'm thinking along the lines of triggering a Power Automate flow or an SDK message?

What I'm looking for is a way to trigger a specific type of Create, or launch a workflow. I'm guessing this is not available from power portals unless using JavaScript to call the Org services (if this is even still a thing)?

Thanks

    Thanks @OOlashyn & @OliverRodrigues

This will all be very helpful with overcoming some of the shortcomings we're encountering with Power Portals.

I marked @OOlashyn's response as the answer as it is the most direct implementation, but I suspect we may be leveraging @OliverRodrigues app as well.

    Hi @BrennanPhoenix ,

Unfortunately, there is no ootb to do that (well MS announced WebAPI on Portal but it will not be soon). You can use Flow (with HTTP request trigger) for doing some actions in the CDS that will be triggered from the Portal. Also you can check out this article for more complicated code related approach with custom pages and CDS Plugins.
