Send an email (V2) vs. LetSignIt (auto signature inserting)

Posted on by
I have searched online and I have searched the "Help" in LetSignIt website AND I just emailed them, but I seriously doubt they can help.

I do not think anyone has mentioned this problem to LetSignIt or other auto-insertion email signature companies, or if they have - nothing is found online.

I am getting info from a Microsoft List making it pull records - in this case it is a list of people. With a Manual Trigger...I just click "Run" and it gets the items, search the items, if a certain collum has a certain entry...send an email to those people. Then the "Send an email (V2)" connector is configured (by me) with a specific email message, and I have it dynamically enter the person's name, and anything else I want from the database (Microsoft List). Simple right? Right.

WE USE THIS OFTEN. I have flows that automatically send out event registration PDFs, forms that send out meeting room reservation messages, etc...

I can even make myself a delegate of another employee (in Exchange Admin) and then in Power Automate in the "Send an email (V2)" connector I can specify the "From" and the "Reply To" so the email that Power Automate sends OUT looks like it actually even comes from another employee. THIS IS CRITICAL because that specific email (for example concerning an event registration) needs to be replied-to or needs to come from another employee......NOT ME.

Yet.......because we have LetSignIt - EVERY email Power Automate sends OUT.....it puts my signature. It DOES properly fill in the "From" field, and when you get the email it does show who I want it to show that it is coming from (another employee) and if you click Reply, it does indeed fill in the proper reply to email - all of that works great (the Send an email (V2) connector works great) --- BUT, every one of those emails....it adds my signature at the bottom of the email.

"IT" being - NOT - the "Send an email (V2)" connector OR Power Automate....it is being added by the LetSignIt rule? I have no idea.

We have enabled the SMTP connector with LetSignIt so all of our employees that are using iPhone email - when they send their emails, LetSignIt auto-adds their signature.

So I need to find a way that when an email is being sent FROM Power Automate --- DO NOT APPLY LETSIGNIT SIGNATURE.

But I cannot see how that would be possible.

My only other option is to REMOVE myself in the LetSignIt system.....so it doesn't attach my signature, but that is not possible because automations are running often with room reservations, requests and emails are being sent via Power Automate regularly and MANY actually DO need to come from me and the signature is fine to be attached.....but many others - I do NOT want the LetSignIt signature attaching to it.

and before someone says "CANCEL LET SIGN IT!?" --- we use the signature insert function often - running email signature campaigns and I want the uniformity of the signatures, etc.... so I want to keep using it. But I jsut need to find a way maybe in Exchange Admin to create a rule if an email is being sent from Power Automate, DO NOT insert the signature....???
Help.
