Unable to edit old cloud based flows. Getting "Request failed with status code 403"

Hi,

Recently have been experiencing issues while editing existing cloud based flows which I have created couple of years back. As soon as I click the edit flow button am shown error page with "Request failed with status code 403" error message. Have tried creating another flow today and was able to edit the same post creation and also after using the flow couple of times. Appreciate if someone can throw some light on this.

Thanks

    Hi @Ramnarayan,

Are you experiencing this issue with the new designer? If so, have you tried switching back to the old one as a workaround to see if that makes a difference?

The designer is still pretty new. So, in some cases it can be useful to temporarily switch back to the old one:

    Thank you for your reply!

Issue is am unable to reach flow designer screen itself. Once I click edit button to get into flow designer screen (screenshot which you posted) I see complete error screen with error message "

It looks like something went wrong

Request failed with status code 403"

This issue is not there for flows which I have created a day or two days back. Unable to understand the root cause. And also for the flows which I was able to edit, I have switched back to classic flow designer. Didnt have an effect on the issue.

    Hi @Ramnarayan,

Can you open the developer toolbar of your browser while (trying to) open that flow. That might give you some clues in the Network tab while you are getting a 403 Forbidden HTTP response.

In the meantime I would also suggest to contact Power Automate support about this (in parallel to this thread). They might also be able to help you out.

I faced the same issue. The solution is to change the url so it directly loads the old designer.

The way to do this is to change the url from:

    make.powerautomate.<whateverurl>?v3=true

    to the url below:

    make.powerautomate.<whateverurl>?v3=false

the flow should be accessible now.
