We have been struggling to long. Hoping someone can shed some light on the following.

We have a Basic Portal form of a case. Included the timeline. (see yellow parts). When adding a new comment (ADD COMMENT), it’s not possible to attach multiple files. (as far as we know)
When adding a subgrid with portal comments (blue parts) and allow (via metadata) the creation of a new portal comments. We can enable to attach multiple files at once. We added the subgrid just for testing, in live we only want to show the timeline.
So … our question\wish.
Is there a way can use the beautiful layout of the timeline and make the “ADD Comments” button do what the “Create test Case Portal Comments” button does. In practice we should probably hide the “Add comments” button completely and create a button on the Case Form that makes the magic happening.
Any help is much appreciated.
