Power Pages licensing for sub-contractors

Hi

I'm working with a company that requires a Power Pages portal for sub-contractors to update job records. I wanted to check what licences would be required - I had assumed that authenticated power pages licence would be sufficient but someone has mentioned multiplexing, saying that D365 Customer Service licences may be required.

Whilst the sub-contractors are obviously employed by the company, they're only employed to do the work of fixing things and then logging on to the portal to update the relevant information. There is a chance that records on restricted tables (like Case) are updated indirectly, however I don't think that this impacts the licensing, only whether the sub-contractors are considered external users or not.

To me it sounds like the authenticated Power Pages licences are fine but I'm no licensing expert so wanted to get others' opinions.

Thanks for reading!
