Hello, fair warning I'm pretty new to all this. I am trying to build a flow with the move email action. I can happily build the flow if the email is left in the inbox. At the moment the flow is triggered from a sharepoint categorisation and the flow moves the email from the inbox into a subfolder. However, the team I am working with has 2 triage stages. I want to add an action to move from a subfolder (not inbox). Is it possible to target a subfolder for the connector to search in?
Any help would be appreciated
@Valster refer to this article https://tomriha.com/how-to-get-emails-from-a-folder-in-a-shared-mailbox-with-power-automate/ see if this helps
@annajhaveri sorry for not replying earlier, I took some leave. I am using the same mailbox in both get and move actions but still receive the same 'object is not found in store' message. I'm probably missing something obvious. I have uploaded an example of the flow.
@Valster yes move email looks for message regardless of folder, the message id should be correct. I just tried to find email using Get Emails from a subfolder and then move that email to another subfolder and it worked, are you using same mailbox in both Get Emails and Move Email action?
Hi @annajhaveri
I tried Get Emails first and thought I could then use the action to Move e-mail but the flow fails at this point as “The specified object was not found in the store. I receive this message when someone has bypassed our SharePoint categorisation and manually moves an email out of the inbox. This led me to think that the Move Email action looks in the Inbox regardless of the prior action.
@Valster are you looking to first find an email in subfolder? If yes then you can use Get Emails action to search email in subfolder.
