I have created a flow that if a sharepoint list item has an attachment it will get the attachment, create a new list item in different list, add the attachment to new list item, and generate an email with the attachment. Everything is working except, the attachment in the email is currupted. How is this resolved?

My flow runs, but the attachment in the email is corrupted. Can you open your attachment in your email?

I have the same issue and cannot open the attachment. It says file may be corrupt regardless of file type. Is there any resolution to this?

All I am trying to do is when a new item in a list is created, send the attachment for that item in an email.

Hi @Anonymous

It might have worked for you. The actual issue is file sharing and security.
Late last year, there was a security update on how file importing is to be done in SharePoint. Files cannot be shared publicly but there must be a specific audience to whom it can be shared. This needs to be made aware to the users to this application.

My flow just start acting the same way with corrupted pdfs. I have a flow that pull the pdf attachment from one list and gets added on to the next. It was working flawlessly for about a year and now suddenly all the files that gets saved over are corrupted and can't open. It's seems the file size is reduced to 4mb, making it corrupt. Anyone has any insight?

I followed you post above, the FLOW saves OK, but I get an error when I run it:
The specified name is already in use.
The document or folder name was not changed. To change the name to a different value, close this dialog and edit the properties of the document or folder.
