Upon a create or edit entity form submission, I'd like to attach an event handler through JavaScript to determine whether it was successfully submitted or not.
Hi @gospa
At present, you can trigger the power automate using JavaScript. I am adding the blog details to give you an overview of how to achieve your requirement

But something exciting is coming in next month. Going forward you can natively integrate Power Automate in the button click

Hope it helps. ------------

Thanks for the response. Perhaps I'll edit my question. I was looking more of an event handler that runs if the create/submit button was successful
Not with JavaScript, use the Forms on success settings and redirect to another Web Page it will only redirect on successful form submission.
