Plans (with limited access)

Hello,
Microsoft Plans looks amazing! I tried following the steps using my work account and nothing was working as intended. My company doesn't allow to use Triggers in Copilot Studio, for example, which prevents me from publishing an agent. I can't link Sharepoint/files either.

Is there a way to use some of the Plans functionality when the company policies are so strict?

Thanks!

These restrictions are most likely due to data loss protection policies (DLP).

If you've not done so, it's worth registering for the Power Apps developer plan and seeing if it works in a developer environment. It's possible that your company policy may have exclusions on developer environments.

If that doesn't work, there isn't any way to do what you'd like when the company policies are so strict.

If you can register for the Power Up program, that would provide an environment for training purposes where most of this basic functionality would work.

It is frustrating when corporate "guardrails" block the best features of Microsoft Copilot Studio and Success by Design. Many organizations disable Power Automate Triggers and SharePoint Graph Connectors to prevent data leakagees.

If you can’t publish a formal Agent, use Copilot for Microsoft 365 (the one in Teams/Word/Excel) instead of Copilot Studio.
