New dataverse search functionality in power portal is buggy

Hello everyone,

I have just integrated the new Dataverse search functionality in my Power Portal app. Previously I was using the Lucene search functionality, but this is going to be replaced.

I've followed the instructions given in the documentation and everything seems to works right at first. But sometimes I am experiencing some weird scenario's where for example I specify a certain keyword and the search engine will find results for it but none of them are actually printed on the screen. See picture below.

But after refreshing the page a couple of times the results are printed:

The above scenario is not occuring at all time, just occasionally which makes it really hard to reproduce.

Is this something more people are experiencing? Might it be a bug?

I would love to know more!

Hi @Bart-qteam

Try this method. Assuming dataverse search is enabled.

In the design studio. Press the sync button then press ctrl + F5 twice to clear out all cache and start a fresh search.

My hunch is it is possibly a bug. I have tried it as well. You can create a support ticket with Microsoft for this. Link below
