HTML on entity form in Power Apps Portal

Hi,

I have a multi text field in the CDS. This field holds HTML, which internal users view with a Canvas app. We are looking into opening our system up to external users. When I view the form that has the HTML text field on it, in a portal, it shows as HTML code. Is there away to have the portal render the HTML formatting?

    Thank you for this article, but I need to display HTML formatted text for viewing. I do not need to save anything.

    Hi @Jackw you can achieve this via JS or Liquid then.

    If you are rendering your page via Liquid, or if your HTML field is in the Contact entity, you can use something like this in your Web Page/Web Template (in my example I am in the Profile page):

    if your HTML attribute is not in the Contact entity, you can still retrieve via Liquid if you want, or you can also use JS/jQuery:

    var myHtmlvalue = $("#adx_publicprofilecopy").val();
    $("#adx_publicprofilecopy_label").append(myHtmlvalue);

    My HTML text is coming from a field on CDS entity form. The external user has a list of items. They click on the item they want, and that brings up the CDS entity form. This form has more details on it. One of the Fields with more details is formatted in HTML.
