Testing of your Trigger

Hi,

I am at the stage of 'Testing your Trigger' in the testing and monitoring section of the course. However, the test will not complete due to it not being able to create the Teams appointments. Should this be happening? Is there a Teams account I can use?

Thanks!

    Hi,

I had the exact same problem.

I emailed Power up support but not had a response yet. I couldn't connect to Teams or Outlook.

I just sent Gmail emails instead of creating Teams meetings, using the gmail connector (if you do this you need to setup an account on google cloud and get OAuth credentials too).

This is a known limitation. Due to privacy considerations, Exchange Online Mailbox licenses are not assigned to student accounts.
As a result, sending emails or scheduling Teams meetings isn't available for Power Up student accounts.

As a workaround, you can use or create a personal Outlook.com or Gmail account.

You can join the weekly live Q&A sessions, where the instructor will guide you through each step.

If you have a work account and feel comfortable using it, that could be a helpful alternative.
As a workaround, you may create and use a personal Outlook.com, Gmail account, or sending massages to the team group/channel.
