Hi Team,
In the powerapps form, I use a date control with a timezone set to Date.TimeZone.local and the format to DateTimeFormat.LongDate.
The data is stored in a SharePoint list which is a text column.
The screenshot below is the way I see the date on my screen
Below is the view of same record seen on my colleague's screen which shows different dates (due to the date format)
The date format of my system is set as the 1st screenshot below m/dd/yyyy and the date format of my colleague is set as the 2nd screenshot with dd/mm/yyyy format.
I also tested by asking him to update the date as 30th Aug using the calendar control from his end using the form in the PowerApp and save the record. So, when he changed the date to 30th Aug'24, I was then able to see the dates incorrectly like he did. The above dates snapshots seen vice-versa.
Also, I cannot now change the existing text column to a date column as multiple users have already filled in dates.
Can you please suggest on how this can be resolved considering we cannot ask all users to follow one format of the system date?
