Hello Everyone,

I have stored JSON data in SharePoint online list multi line and text column. I need to update that column in Power Apps form.

Can anyone help me for how to parse / stringfy the JSON data in Power Apps without using Flow?

Thanks & Regards,
Meet

    Hi @MeetBhatt

Just to confirm, does your question relate to a portal app or to a canvas app? From how I read this, you have JSON data in a SharePoint field that represents a record or table structure, and you would like to modify this and to update the SharePoint field from a canvas app.

If that is the case, there is unfortunately no simple way to do this. There is however a post in the ideas forum with this suggestion, and you can vote for it here.

Flow would be the best approach because the alternative would involve manually parsing the JSON data with regex or other string functions.

    Hi @timl

    Thanks for your response

This question is related to canvas app. The SharePoint field data represents in record structure.

I need to show that JSON data into Power Apps List Screen.

    Kindly refer below screenshot.

    Hi @MeetBhatt

Here's an example of how to do this with string substitution functions.
