Hello!

I've built a couple forms that save to an excel spreadsheet that i report out on each month.  Within my flow there is a field used to capture a users email address.  Is there a way to use the "get user profile" to capture the email IDs First and Last name but also add it to the spreadsheet that the form is already saving to?  My current flow uses "get user profile" to add the email addresses first and last name to the email that i have sent out at the end of flow.  I'm just trying to find a way to capture that first and last name within the same excel spreadsheet that my form is dumping to.  Please let me know if this is possible, thank you!

my current flow is listed below but the get user profile is tied to the email address from the form thats submitted.

Currently after my flow runs it collects the data submitted and dumps it into an excel doc and it looks like below:

What i'm basically trying to do is find a way to lookup the user provided, in this case JaneDoe@company.com, and update the row to add their display name based on the get user profile connector.  Listed below is what i'm trying to accomplish when everything is said and done.  Is this possible?

If you are using Power Apps to capture the data you could add a name field and use Office365Users.UserProfileV2(Email).DisplayName to get the name and save it as the default value of a hidden field in the form.

so in a nutshell my employees are entering the email addresses of users, and thats what gets stored in the spreadsheet.  The end result is an email gets sent to that email as well as their manager, but i was hoping there was a way for me to store the first and last name by using the get user profile connection based on the email address we captured.  I could have the form updated to include a first name and last name but i was hoping to avoid that as it could create human error.

What spreadsheet are you referring to? The spreadsheet generated by Microsoft Forms to store the responses. If so, I have never tried this, so I would test this first before using it on something in production.
    1. The spreadsheet for the form is stored in the OneDrive of the owner of the form.
    2. Find the spreadsheet and add a column to store the name.
    3. When the flow runs, use the update row action to add the data.
However, if you are capturing the e-mail address of the person when they submit the form, their name is saved in the spreadsheet in the name field.
