404 Error after Deployment

Hi All,

I have recently deployed a new version of the D365 Marketing Event Page. Unfortunately for me, our external vendor has apparently set up the "test" site incorrectly, and the deployment has broken both pages despite being pointed to the correct website binding.

We're now in a total mess as the Event Page no longer loads and displays a 404. It appears that the "test" event site's URL is being inserted into the real event site's URL - it gives the below error:

Any help or advice you can give is very much appreciated. Microsoft has no idea and have sent this to "the developers".

    Hi @Niamh ,

Marketing Portal uses Angular instead of standard web templates with liquid setup for main and event pages. I would recommend you check the code and see how exactly this URL is generated and validated if there are no incorrect hardcoded values or dependencies.

Hi Oolashyn, Thanks so much for your reply!
The deployment was done in Angular and followed the Microsoft deployment steps - we also used the MS files as provided.

Do you have any pointers for where the URL would be generated in the MS standard package?

    Thanks so much!!

Unfortunately, I am not as familiar with Marketing Portals so I cannot say where exactly you would need to look. I recall recently seeing Megan Walker writing a series of articles regarding Marketing Portals with Power Pages - https://meganvwalker.com/d365-marketing-events-portal-using-power-pages/ check them out maybe there will be something to that regard.
