Using Power Apps Pages with existing website

Hi All,

I have a client who is using a front-end website for their products and vendors.

Their requirements are as follows:

  • The external users should be able to submit their data to their website called MyCompany.com
  • They are considering Power Pages for this use case.

  • Since most will be users submit form data anonymously, the only option for them is $100 per month for 100,000 page views.
    Pricing - Power Apps (microsoft.com)

    Power Pages Question.png

  • The users would be managing MyCompany.com will be 15 users and external users would be 4000 users.

  • Q: After purchasing, Power Pages, would the customer utilize their current website i.e MyCompany.com with Power Pages considering they already have a landing page? How this can be achieved?

  • Q: What does 100,000 page views mean here?
If the client has 15 internal users and 1 web form (using Power Pages) that external users submit, does this 100K page views limit the number of views for external users per month? as it is not very clear.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    you are welcome @aaroh_bits

You are right. Because it is unauthenticated, one visit is counted as 1 view.

Additional: Unused page views do NOT carry over for the next month. Sorry about this.

    Hope it helps.

Thank you @ragavanrajan for your insights. Really appreciate that.

Just want to confirm, that 100K page views (per month) mean that 1 external user visits the web form view = 1 page view? is it?

    Hi @aaroh_bits

Welcome to the power pages forum.

FYI. Power Pages pricing is not yet available. Your screenshot indicates the Power Apps Portals pricing.

    For your question,

Q1: Answer: if you want to utilise the mycompany.com landing page then you can iframe the landing page. But you need to configure some security settings to avoid CORS issues. or you can rebuild the home page in Power Pages to keep everything in one place.

Q2: Answer: For your internal, you can either purchase a power app per app plan or per user plan, depending on your need.  For external unauthenticated, you should purchase the necessary page views capacity across all portals instances that cater to anonymous access scenarios.

Example: If you are anticipating 400,000 page views per month, then you should purchase 4 lots of page view capacity(unauthenticated)

    Hope it helps.

If it is just basic anonymous form submission, another possibility may also be Dynamics 365 Marketing's landing pages.
