Hello,
I'm building an App with a Sharepoint connection. I want to add a new entry in the Sharepoint-List with a newForm and then submitForm. In the Sharepoint-List there is stored the User who is creating the entry in a own Person-Field.
Here is my problem:
If Bob tries to create a new Sharepoint-List entry with the PowerApp he gets an error when there is no Sharepoint-List entry which has the Person-Field filled with Bob. If I create a Sharepoint-List entry manually with the Person-Flield filled with Bob it works for him. So long untill there is no such entry anymore.
The error is: There was a general validation issue detected, that did not fit one of the other kinds. (11)
Why does it work only with that condition? Do you know a solution?
Thank you! 🙂
Hi @HenWang,
thank you for your answer.
There is no if condition in the submit button.
Today I found the solution for my problem. It was absolutly my fault.
Hi @Vincent55 ,
You need to check whether there is any if condition in your submit button's onselect code. If possible, please also provide the screenshot of your code inside. I think this issue happens because there is condition limiting Bob from creating the record.
Best Regards,
Hen Wang
