Creating Flow to auto-update photo in Image Viewer web part

Hello,

I am trying to create a flow to automatically change the photo on an Image Viewer webpart on my Sharepoint site.

I have done half of this flow by creating a List of items with photo attachments. When the 'Upload' column has todays date, the attachment is copied over to a Document Library.

I would like this document library to have one photo in it at any time, and with a common URL that is linked to the Image Viewer. That way, when the date matches today the photo that is copied across automatically changes what is shown in the Image Viewer webpart.

Is there a way to link the Image Viewer webpart to a common URL for the Document Library?

I have the same question (0)

Thank-you, this works perfectly for my needs!

I can use the flow to automatically update the document library with todays image, and the highlighted content web part will then update automatically with it 🙂 You legend

    Hi @HF1,

Maybe you can use a Highlighted Content Web Part instead of an Image Viewer? With this web part you can dynamically load an image from a library and sort it by the most recent and limit it to 1 item.

Or do you have specific requirements that this web part won't work.

However, if you want to update it with a flow you can use an Send an HTTP request to SharePoint action with SavePageAsDraft method.

Below is an example of that approach with a File Viewer web part in another thread:
