Audit Log Choice Not Persisting Upon Solution Import

Hi All,

I'm trying to enable Audit Log capabilities in my Model Driven App and after enabling auditing in my environment, I noticed audit logs still weren't being kept. I double checked my tables in my DEV environment and confirmed that I did in fact Enable Auditing in the specific tables, but then when I imported the solution, I came to find that the box wasn't checked in PROD. Any ideas as to how to get my audit choice to persist across environments?

    Doing this on a Managed solution creates a layer. This is not a solution.

    Hi @apol3

    The auditing needs to be enabled at three levels:

    1. Environment (manually in each downstream environment where you want it enabled)

    2. Table/Entity (manually or through solution deployment)

    3. Column/Field (manually or through solution deployment)

    From your response, it appears that number 2 was missed but I'm glad you were able to figure it out.

    Kind regards

    Gulshan

    Ok so Dataverse works in mysterious ways sometimes... I didn't really answer my question as to why that choice doesn't persist, but did find a way to enable the Audit Log in PROD

    1. From the App itself, click the Settings gear and go to "Advanced Settings"

    2. Click the Settings Dropdown and Choose System -> Administration

    3. System Settings -> Auditing

    4. Choose "Entity and Field Audit Settings"

    5. Use the Classic Navigation to click to your entities and check off the Audit box (it's in the "General" tab)
