Unable to follow the Power Up training material with default environment install

Hi,
I've signed up to the Microsoft Power Up Program and enrolled on the Plan Designer fundamentals course. Prior to commencing the course, there is a process you follow/button you click to have a development environment installed on your machine to be able to undertake the course. I completed this action and saw my environment available.
I then followed the training material of which the first step is to paste some text into the Plan window (you can see this in the first screenshot). I then click on the Generate button and I receive the message shown in the first screenshot. I find this strange as this is the environment the Power Up programme created for me. I haven't changed a thing in it. I go ahead and click 'Switch and create' and I am greeted with the second screenshot below.

I assume this isn't expected. I do find this strange and I would've thought the environment MS installed for me to been working from the off.

Please can someone advise on what's taking place as without this environment I cannot follow the Power Up programme.
To add, I am attempting all this on my work laptop that does have an Azure instance of MS products and I do have a work account that is associated with the likes of Office, Power BI, Dynamics, etc.. However, I have checked the account I'm using for this course and it is the account I created through a personal email.
Thanks.

    Thanks for reporting this.

I can see from your screenshots that you're doing this as described in the training. The screenshot shows you're correctly logged into your development environment.

I suspect that during the provisioning of your development environment, the permissions weren't setup correctly for you.

I recommend that you contact powerup-support@microsoft.com.  They can hopefully check the permissions assigned to your developer environment and to fix it to grant you the correct access.
