I am looking to set up a mailbox which can act as a 'system' email for a Power Apps Portal. For example, I would like to use this email with the reset password process and new portal account registration confirmation email.
I have looked at the advanced settings at the environment level for email configuration and mailbox settings. However my question is this, does an email account like this need to have a user license associated with it? If so, can it be a an existing user (such as mine as the system admin)? Or does there have to be a fully licenses power apps user set up for send email?
