"Your power automate plan 2 has expired" message on Approvals page

One of my coworkers cannot access her Approvals page under the PowerAutomate site (Action Items -> Approvals). She gets this message: "Your power automate plan 2 has expired" and a prompt to renew a 90-day trial. As far as we can tell, she never signed up for a trial in the first place.

As far as I can tell, the Approval ability is classified as a Standard / basic feature and should not require an advanced / Plan 2 PowerAutomate license. Is this not the case?

Other users are able to complete approvals with a basic connection - are they on a ticking timer until their trial runs out?

Check to see if anyone has shared a flow with a Premium connector also.  That could account for it as well.

    Thanks Pstork!

The message appears throughout the entire Power Automate page (landing area, approvals, Flows, etc.). They were able to resume normal use by using the "extend trial" option that the warning provided, but I imagine the same issue might pop up later after that iteration expires. I don't believe they had created any flows or connections but that is a good thought that we can check into while they still have access.

It is good to know that this is likely an isolated issue and that approvals are not locked behind a premium plan.

Approvals are a standard connector and shouldn't need a premium license.  Did this user create any flows or connections?  If so, it might be one of them that is triggering the warning.  Do they get the same warning when they try to edit flows?  If not, then they are getting a false positive and you'll need to open a service call with Microsoft to resolve the issue.
