Hi all,
I need to create a page that displays important customer data for our customer support and sales team - no external users. There will be a couple Power BI reports embedded along with customer notes, upcoming meetings, support tickets, and documents. Most of the data will come from Dataverse and Sharepoint. The catch is I want to dynamically display all of this based on which customer is selected from a dropdown.
Does this make sense to use Power Pages or should I just build a Canvas app?
Hi @ryanpuffer,
as it seems your customer already uses the power platform. To not create more work as you need I would go with a canvas app and embed your power Bi dashboards there.
PowerPages need a lot more work and customization as well as some other licenses in some cases which lead to more costs. I don't think that it would be necessary in your case.
If you want to create a developer tenant and create a page and see if you can set it up as fast as you want to.
