Adding new file to OneDrive for Business triggers flow multiple times after years without issue

I have a flow that has been working flawlessly for years and I've copied it to monitor different folders. The flow is linked to my O365 Business account. All of the flows like this are triggering between 3 and 6 times without any change to the flows or process to trigger them. I've tried making a new flow just the same, making a new flow with a different trigger, making a new flow without the control, and making a new flow from this template with no changes. I've also tried turning on concurrency with no affect. Regardless, each flow I've done triggers multiple times.

Some facts:

  1. Of all the folders that are monitored, none are a parent of another folder that is monitored.
  2. The run history for an individual flow shows it triggering multiple times within about a minute.
  3. Drilling into each run from the run history shows all the same inputs and outputs.
  4. When a file is created has "Split on".
  5. The condition I have set is for file size greater than 50,000,000 bytes. This is so I can send an email with the file attached when under 50MB or just the share link when the file is greater than 50MB.

    I don't have that action in my flow. I do create a shareable link through onedrive and give it to the user so they have access to the folder manually. Could that be related?

    Appears the issue is related to create sharable link triggering another run. For now I disabled the automation until I can figure out a different way around it.

    @ardisst @datajockey
    Have either of you found a solution? This just started happening to me and its driving me crazy as I don't know what the issue is. My flow is similar to @ardisst, excel file uploaded, parse fields, upload into SQL Server, make some changes in Hubspot. Any fix that you were able to find?

    After a bit of experimenting with different combinations, I have discovered that my problem comes from the "Create a share link" bit of program. By removing that section, I was able to create various solutions that sent only a single email. In the end, I took my original, removed the "Create a share link", and adjusted the message body for my emails. My email links now just have a perpetual link pointing to the parent folder that works only for people I have given folder access too.

    @menvpm This issue just started for me on 12/15/2023 but did not catch it until today when my teammates noticed some issues with the data. My flow is different, but now it runs two flows at the same time (instead of one) causing a failure or succeeding, but with duplicate data. I have also tried turn on/turn off with it working once and then failing. I have a second flow that does the same thing, but different file and it is also failing.

    My process: Drop a file in OneDrive (when a file is created) > get Excel tables > Parse JSON > Get Teams Excel file > Delete the rows in that table > Add the JSON array into new table (this is the file created data)

    Seems to start a second flow about 20 seconds-60 seconds after start. This is frustrating because this has also been working for over a year for me and now it broke just as Copilot/designer showed up for us a week ago...Power Automate Double Running #2.PNGPower Automate OD Flow.PNG

    I noticed my flow has updated graphics and the option for Copilot to help. I was thinking maybe a new change on the backend caused this (still possible), which is why I tried that template that I linked. It was made using the older setup, but it didn't pan out for me.

    Right now, I've adjusted all the flows to only email me. I delete all the extras and forward a single email to the rest of the relevant people. Still less work than the pre-flow process, but it's really nagging me.

    The same issue is happening to me, and I've tried a few solutions I've found online that haven't worked. Worked fine for over a year and then randomly this started happening.
