I have a power pages site and users are authenticated using Entra External ID and for 99.9% of my users this is working fine. I have a few users with a problem that I just cant even understand why its happening or how to fix it without deleteing the accounts.
- The account is setup (by the user) in Entra and is validated.
- the account is setup as a contact in dataverse (Dynamics CRM) and everything looks fine when i check Web Authentication under the contact record. they have a stamp, external ID and login is enabled. i have checked it against a 'good' user and aaprt from different GUIDs, its the same
- when this user logs on they are alway sent to the user profile page, never the home page - https://xxx.powerappsportals.com/User-Profile-Page/?ReturnUrl=%2F. they can click 'home' at the top and carry on, but its a pain an extra step. This happens when you have just created your account but this users account was setup ages ago, and they get this everytime, not just once.
- Every other user after log on goes directly to the home page (as expected).
Any ideas why a user would keep being sent to the user-profile-page?
