My use case needs to capture data for Offers provided to a related Account.
Offers has a many-to-one relationship with Accounts.
The Account table is a look up in my Offers table.
I have a form, Account Offers Data, with the following fields:
1. Account
2. Offer Name.
I have a list of Accounts.
I select one account.
My list redirects me to a page with a form called "Account Offer Data' with a look-up field to the Account table.
My url has the accountid of the selected Account.
I have captured the account id into a variable in JavaScript by reading the url and extracting the account id.
I want to populate this account id into the Account look up field in my form.
