PowerApps Portals - Adding attachment to form

Am not able to add an attachment to a form, following this post: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure-notes#additional-settings-for-file-attachment  When I go to entity forms, then to "Additional Settings", I don't see the section as mentioned in the article titled "Add Attach File". Under Additional Settings, I have buttons for "Delete", "Workflow", "Create Related Record", "Submit", "Activate", "Deactivate". Is there something else I need to do to enable attachments for my form?

    Hi @BrittanyR

It seems that you are in Entity List.

You can add attachment in Entity Form.

Attach File option will be available on Entity Form record, not Entity List record.

You can find attach file on the entity form. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure-notes#enable-file-attachment-on-form

    Thanks @gisingh  @hardikv

Go to the portal management app, from the left, I choose "Entity Forms", then I select my form from the list of forms. I go to Additional Settings, but I see nothing there like the docs: here's a screenshot:

I went to Entity form metadata, to add notes attachment, that didn't change anything.

    Hi @BrittanyR

Can you please scroll down in "Additional Settings"?

There will be section for "Add Attach File". Please check 'Attach File' checkbox.

    Hi @BrittanyR ,

Regarding the screenshot that you provided, I think you are in right direction. Please go to the Entity form, then switch to "Additional Settings", then scroll down the page, then you could find the "Add Attach File" section there:

    3.JPG

Please configure your Entity form as above screenshot.

In addition, please also make sure you have enabled "Enable Entity Permission" option for your Entity form as below:

    4.JPG

The "Attach a file" button would shown up as below when you edit an existing record:

Also please check and see if the thread solution I provided below could help in your scenario:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Common-Data-Service-for-Apps/How-do-I-enable-a-File-upload-field-in-a-Form-embedded-on-a/m-p/578708

Please try above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
