Last two months (Feb-March 24) were full of serious bugs in the Power Platform.
Currently I have a very strange issue with a custom connector function in the Canvas App.
There is a button supposed to run an API call via custom connector when pressed.
The problem is that it runs the function also when I select the Formula Bar in Edit Mode.
App is integrated with DAX live, prelive and dev environments and you can imagine the scale of that problem if app runs API calls at the time it's not supposed to. You can see in the image below, there is a button "Jah" that has OnSelect function. There is a custom connector line daxapi.GETCarTransport() that activates when I press into formula bar window!
Previous cases in Feb-March:
1) I could not open Canvas apps in Edit Mode - workaround recommended to use Firefox or Chrome/Edge Private Mode. Finally MS found a reason that it was related to enabling Power Fx Formula Bar in the apps.
2) Flow connections suddenly dissapeared from the apps by its own. Apps were broken in Edit Mode, needed to manually re-add Flows to the app. Also one strange thing was that one flow which was renamed in Power Automate long time ago, has automatically changed name in the Canvas function "NewName.Run()" to "OldName.Run()". MS is still investigating that issue.
What I want to say that I'm running a business having many clients using the apps developed by us. We receive serious complaints from the clients when such things happen and MS śupport is endlessly investigating issues. When one is solved, another happens.
Does someone have also such experience or similar symptoms in the apps?
