Populate a MS Word template

I tried to enter en output in a Word template. It should take the template, leave it as it is, enter the output in the "order no" field, store it to a defined location. The flow is running till the end without error, but there is no "order no" entered in the doc? What is wrong?

    You're almost there.

You have filled the word template in successfully, but you are missing the final step, to actually create the file in SharePoint of OneDrive.

Just add the final step (the one I wrote in my previous post) and you'll have the file saved in a SharePoint folder and you can do with it as you please.

If this gives you any more Trouble, let me know… This was actually my first productive flow and I slaved a lot to finally figure it out 😉

I created the file manualy, incl. the field "order no", which is detected and shown in the flow. My idea was to create a template with company header, save this file in the library and take it from there in the flow and fill in the content individualy. is this not possible or wrong like that? I thought if I can see and select the field in the flow, everything is fine...?

    Hey,

you are missing the step where you create the file in your SharePoint.

    There you select
    - the FolderPath,
    - file name (with .docx in the end)
    - file content (the word document you populated in the previous step)

    and you're done.
