Ive seen a few guides on getting portals working with attachments stored in azure blob storage but in testing this only seems to work if the storage is public ie anyone with a url can access the blob. is there a way to get this working with non publicly accessible storage? Hoping I just missed something stupid
Hi @Jeff_ccs
It's a great question. I haven't tested this feature. But in general, as far as I remember, Azure integration works with Notes configured in Entity Form Metadata.
On the other note, did you look at the recent release of the File column in Portals?
It is a great feature with UI and web API file attachment support.
So if you enable this feature along with the web role, it is indirectly a blob storage with secured access.
Shedding some lights.
Hope it helps.
